Hello, my name is Raisa Khan. I'm a musician; a keys player and songwriter based in SE London. I also love collaborating and writing piano, synth or sample-based parts with other musicians.

I studied Electronic Music and Piano at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Here I met two of my lifelong collaborators; Mica Levi and Marc Pell. Together we were a band called Micachu and The Shapes and released three LPs on Rough trade records, published through Beggars Group.  I’m currently in a band called Good Sad Happy Bad, and we just release our first record together.  Shades is out on Textile Records.

 

Working with other artists and getting to immerse myself in different creative processes is an experience I absolutely love being a part of. I'm also interested in working with visual artists, something I'm looking forward to doing more of in the near future.
